Description
About five miles west of Belle Isle, the NYC main line passes through the village of Warners. On the head end of train no. 50 on track two at Warners, the crew prepares to look over the 85 cars of Indianapolis-bound manifest BF-1, passing on track 4. behind units 1808 and 1807. Track 3 has been removed, and with the coming of CTC track 4 was also eliminated. A controlled point with universal crossovers was installed near here to expedite traffic over the two remaining high-speed main tracks. The control machine is in the station at Rochester.
