Description
The photographer had only to do an about-face after the passing of the drag pictured on the preceding page to get this shot of the NYC's no.2745, pulling out of DeWitt Yards with 74 high cars behind. The rear end of this train is just about abreast of the engine-inspection building, three of whose rooftop exhaust vents are discernable in the distance. To the left of them is the power plant smokestack.
