Title
Train CD-2 under James St. passing under searchlight signal bridge
Subject
Steam Freight Train
Description
Here's a mixed drag off the Pennsylvania Division bound for the East Syracuse terminal, ducking under a signal bridge about a mile west of De Witt Yard throat. Engine 2558, L-1 Mohawk type on the head-end, indicates the origin of the train, because L-1s are not used on other runs out of East Syracuse. Both the engine-and the train-crews have come thru from Corning, N.Y., but the train is a pickup run, and some of its 51 cars were added at Geneva.
