Description
At the south end of Southport Yard, an H-9s 2-8-0 type pulls a cut of loaded hoppers out on the lead for switching maneuvers. Southport is switched by several classes of power, including H-9s and H-10s 2-8-0s, L-1s 2-8-2s, B-6sb 0-6-0s, and a C-1 0-8-0 (no diesels at this recording). The coal-dock of the preceding picture is visible in the upper left background.
