Both pictures on the preceding page included a distant view of Jericho Bridge, a highway overpass which crosses the westbound class yard near its westerly end and which passes by the general yard office south of the thoroughfare or bypass tracks. This is the scene looking west from Jericho Bridge, with the westbound class yard in the foreground and the westbound advance yard in the right background. A cut of Utica cars is being advanced by engine 9318, which is just about in line with the floodlight tower. The diesel fueling station is in the vicinity of the fuel tank, and the eastbound class yard is in the background beyond it.
