Description
At Selkirk as well as at DeWitt it is the practice to have a job furnished with a single-unit diesel working at the hump end of the class yard to shove the class tracks, re-hump mixed class tracks, correct switching errors caused by catch ups and other faults, and otherwise tidy up the area. At some hump yards, this job is called the 'trimmer', while at Selkirk, it is the 'goat'. Here is the goat coming up from the class yard with a cut to be re-humped.
