Description

The famous Commodore leaves Harmon amid shadows cast by a sun lying low across the Hudson River. Under the signal bridge, the eastbound station platform can be seen splitting tracks 2 and 4. Tracks 6, 8, and 10 on the right are used primarily for receiving, switching, and holding eastbound mail and express trains which are split into Grand Central and West Side segments at Harmon.
