Description
The two NYC 4-8-2s pictured have braked their 76-car load heavily on the twelve-mile grade down from Beaver Dams, and are now drifting into the north end of Corning Yard. Engine no.2577 in the lead was coupled on as a helper out of Dresden, and no.2622 behind her has come thru from De Witt Yards, Syracuse. In addition to this tandem, there was a pusher for some ten miles out of Dresden.
