Title

Train No. 35 passing Fassett Tower and semephore signal bridge

Subject

Steam Passenger Train

Description

Little Fassett Street tower on the left is at the west end of a short stretch of four-track main line in East Toledo. It also controls movements between the main tracks and the northwest wye connection with the W&LE belt. This wye is visible here above the diesels, and the boxcars beyond it identify the W&LE belt line. Interchange to the W&LE is delivered via this connection, while interchange to the Central is delivered by the W&LE on the southeast wye, which is occupied by the cars in the right background. The train westbound on track 1 is no. 35, with diesels 4067 and 4062.
