Title
Matched Alcos on train VG-57
Subject
Diesel Freight Locomotive
Description
This is the scene looking east towards Minoa from Rotnour Road bridge which crosses the yard just east of the westbound and eastbound humps. In the foreground are passenger mains 2 and 1, then freight running tracks 3 and 4. The latter is occupied by a Selkirk-Gardenville extra, VG-57, with units 1060-3340-1059 and 136 empties. This is a bypass train which will change crews on track 4 at the west end of the yard. The twelve-track westbound receiving yard is nearest to the mains, and on the far side is the eastbound class yard (the retarder tower is between the two).
