Title

Hump conductor pulling pin

Subject

People

Description

Clerk and pin-puller perform their duties at the crest of the hump behind a fence which protects against north winds. The black boxes on the pole in the background contain controls for radio communication with hump and trimmer engines and for hump signal indications. The car repair facility is visible just above the tops of the gondolas, with the now-defunct eastbound departure yard across the field in the distance.
