Title

Pusher on northbound coal drag

Subject

Steam Freight Train

Description

Light Mikado no.1848 takes up slack in the hindmost cars of extra 2525 north. This engine will be cut off on the fly at Beaver Dams, and will return to Corning, whereas the lead helper will go to Dresden and be turned for a southbound assist. Fourteen pages back is a shot of engine 1848 performing a different sort of service, albeit over the same stretch of track.
