This Pennsy class I-1sa 2-10-0 type, no.4348, was caught hustling downgrade at Himrod Junction with 90 empty hopper cars jostling behind. The head-end crew is lined up for a stare at the photographer, with the customary mixture of mirth and wonderment on their faces. NYC's Pennsylvania Division tracks run beside the telegraph poles in the right background, and the NYC-PRR connecting track is just out of sight at right.
