Title

Train no. 355

Subject

Steam Passenger Train

Description

Detroit-Chicago train no. 355 brakes into the station at Niles, headed by J-3a Hudson 5425. Though declining steadily and way down from the immediate postwar level, passenger business was still reasonably good at the time on the 280-mile "corridor" between these two cities, and this train was carrying eleven cars. Engine crews will change during the brief station stop.
