Description
Manifest freight TL-2, the Central's prime service to its prominent automotive customers in Lansing, arrives in that city behind 4-8-2 2973. A portion of the train's 69-car consist originated in Stanley yard at Toledo, and the balance was added at Jackson, where a fill out was removed and a new crew took over. Though the Grand Trunk and C&O also serve Lansing, the NYC predominates here as the Grand Trunk does at Pontiac and the C&O at Saginaw.
