Waynoka, in NW Okla., is on the BNSF Transcon. In its younger years,  icing cars was one of the main things Santa Fe RR did. They also delivered ice to homes. Also ice could be bought as chipped or solid by weight.  Delivery to farms  that did not have electricity was also the Railways Ice Co.'s job.  What a wonderful blessing!!!
