On the west side of Rotnour bridge, we look across the mains and freight running tracks to the heart of DeWitt yard. The westbound hump is in action in the foreground, while WD-4 continues over the much higher eastbound hump in the right background. Between the humps are running tracks and the diesel fueling facility, and in the left-center background is the diesel shop. The shop area now contains the fueling facility as well, and the area vacated between humps has been converted into a car repair shop, eliminating the antiquated and inaccessible Midway car shop in the middle of the westbound yard.
